While the Nats throw the first pitch at home on April 5, Declaration Pizza will throw its first dough in Navy Yard, and you can throw a few back at the Aslin Beer Garden pop-up!
Opening its second location next door to F1RST at 1237 First Street SE, D.C.’s gourmet pizza purveyor, Declaration, will serve its signature pies alongside soon-to-be favorites like build-your-own charcuterie plates and a traditional muffuletta sandwich, as well as an expanded dinner menu.
Aslin Beer Company will pop-up a beer garden at 1299 First Street SE, at the corner of N Street SE, in between F1RST Residences and Nationals Park. Two hours pre- and post-game, fans can select from approximately a half-dozen fresh brews, including the Awkwardly Sweet Sour IPA and Peach-Spiked Sorbet IPA. Local food trucks will swing by to keep bellies full, and stay tuned for news about the garden’s non-game day schedule to come in May.
It’s going to be a great opening day, and it’s a great time to #LiveatF1RST!
